No refund eaven when flight cancelled

Waring - this airline is a bunch of croocks, they cancelled my flight 4 days before departure (actully closed down the whole line from Bali to Johor Bahru) - had to buy new tickets for four people and that I can live with, but the refuse to refund my tickets on the cancelled flight.

Cancelled Flight, Poor Communication, Pathetic Call Centre

I booked flights in May 2008 for my family and I to travel from Gold Coast to Bangkok via KL, in December 2008. Arrived in KL to discover that the Bangkok flight had been cancelled. No reason given. They claimed that all passengers had been SMS'd. We did not received this. WHY DO THEY NOT USE E-MAIL!!! We could travel on the next morning's flight or have a refund paid within 30 days. We chose the refund option as we had onward travel arrangements from Bangkok. It cost us AUD $1,400 to get on a Thai Airways flight! It took 3 months to receive the refund, and they had the nerve to charge a hefty processing fee! I will never again fly with Air Asia. I would rather cut down on spending money and fly with a reputable, reliable airline. |

Very bad delayed...Not happened Once but twice. One International Flight, one Domestic Flight.

My Aunties took flight from Bangkok to Jakarta. In Thailand, they were told via SMS that their flight was delayed from 20.00 to 21.00. Arrived at the airport, the delayed changed to 22.00. Later, the delayed changed into 24.00. Guess what, the flight was done at 02.00 AM. You can count by yourself how many hours wasted. Each passenger were given food coupon equals with 100thb. The second stories came from my parents and my brother. They took Air Asia flight from Denpasar to Jakarta. Know something? Very same case happened. Almost exact same time. from 20.00pm to 02.00am. My brother had to go to school at 6.30am. Very nice service, right? |

Bad customer service at Bangkok airport

the lady who did our check in was trying to cheat us. there were 3 of us on the same booking and we had 3 luggages. without showing the weight when she weigh each bag, she just mentioned that we had 12 kilos of excess to pay (allowance per person is 15 kilos). luckily, we weighed each bag back at the hotel, so we knew that we didn't have that much of excess. we demanded that she re-weigh all of them one more time one by one. she agreed, after mumbling something. turned out that we were right, we only had 2 kilos of excess. so, please be careful when you travel with Air Asia thru Bangkok. we don't know if this is the norm with Air Asia the airline, or only the sneakiness of those people at Bangkok airport that work for Air Asia. just be careful and make sure that the staff weigh your bag in front of you. |
